The project started in May 2010 and was completed in October 2010. Properly ensuring a combination of performance and aesthetic consistency, the architects chose to line the balconies with glass balustrades. Requirements include handrails, railing brackets, glass clips, flanges, bottom caps, and adjustable connectors. For added safety, laminated glass is used. The glass is lightly tinted to provide privacy while maintaining a high degree of transparency. High-grade stainless steel glass clips are included in the railing design because they eliminate the need to drill holes to install glass infill. In the corners, glass connectors are used to create a strong and secure connection.
