304 316 Stainless Steel Glass Clamp

Product Description

The glass clamp is made of SS304 grade stainless steel or SS316 grade stainless steel. For indoor project, both 304 grade stainless steel and 316 grade stainless steel made glass clamp are good enough for the job, but we recommend to use 316 grade stainless steel made glass clamp for outdoor project only. Satin and mirror surface treatments are available for different decoration style. 

With safety pin, it can hold glass panel much more stable in position. It can hold glass panel thick from 6mm to 12mm and can be mounted on flat surface, 33.7mm, 38.1mm, 42.4mm, 48.3mm and 50.8mm diameter post.

The grades of material

• 304 Stainless Steel: Also known as 18-8 stainless steel, it is one of the most common types of stainless steel. It contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel and has good corrosion resistance and performs well in general environments.

  304 Stainless Steel is suitable for indoor environments and general purpose applications such as glass clips, railings etc.

• 316 Stainless Steel: Also known as seawater type stainless steel, it contains 16% chromium, 10% nickel and 2% molybdenum. Compared to 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel has higher corrosion resistance, especially to salt water and chemicals. 

  As a result, 316 stainless steel is commonly used in marine environments and chemical applications, as well as applications that require higher corrosion resistance
